Pray for our Missionary couple
Michael and Andi Rayner ![]() And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:14) 4/13/10
Dear Friends and Family,
Hey Everyone! The time has finally come; we are off to Romania tomorrow
morning! We will be flying out of London bright and early in the morning and
arriving in Cluj around 1 pm. We will then be driving about 2 hours to Targu
Mures, to the YWAM base. We can't believe that we will be living in Romania for
2 years!!! We are really excited for all that God has in store.
During our time hear in England we have been refreshed. Though we've been
busy, we have been blessed by the love of those around us. Many people have
opened their homes to us, and we've been fed well. :) I just want to say that
the body of Christ is amazing! We've been well loved, fed, blessed, and
commissioned out to go to Romania. God is so good to His children!
Prayer Requests: Please be praying for safe travels. Also that God would
continue to prepare us for the road ahead. :)
To those of you whom we haven't seen for awhile, we miss you! We are so
thankful for e-mail, so that we can stay in touch. Thank you to you all for
everything! We feel surrounded by your prayers and love, so thank you.
Blessings to you all.
Love,
The Rayners

2/10/10 Dear Friends and Family,
We are back from the island of Aniwa! We arrived yesterday and are now
staying at the YWAM base in a village called Pango. It's been good to be back
with running water and flush toilets. :)
About our time in Aniwa....
As we flew over other islands to reach Aniwa in a little 15 passanger
plane, the sound track from "Out of Africa" played in my mind. It felt even
more like we were in a movie when we landed on the grass landing stripe on the
island of Aniwa, as villagers a waited and watched. We then piled in a truck
with all of our stuff and headed to the other side of the island, where we
stayed in the village called Ikao-kao ( EE-cow-cow).
The island was beautiful and the people were very hospitable! We taught in
two churches during our two weeks, teaching the same Bible overview and
inductive bible study. We taught during the day, then we would go back to the
village. We went to bed at 8 most nights because there was no electricity.
One amazing praise report...the island was going through a drought and
there was not much rain in the last 9 months. So as a team we called some other
friends back on the main island and told them to pray for rain. The people's
drinking water came from the rain so, this was very important. So we prayed.
God answered us! It rained a lot! One day it was a total down pour and the
people were outside running around and yelling in the rain. :) God is so
good!!! If you think of it, please pray for Aniwa, that they will have more
rain and that God will bless them. Also, one of the biggest problems there is
the cult called "Jon From." They worship Jesus and other gods basically, said
simply. There belief system is really complicated and really doesn't make much
sense...so pray that they come out of the deception and worship Jesus alone.
We were really blessed to teach in Aniwa and pray that there will be much
fruit. Thanks so much for all your prayers for us! We are blessed to be in
this together with you all!
So we have 2 weeks left here in Vanuatu, then we will be going to Taiwan
for graduation and a time of debrief. Just a little thing I wanted to share in
passing...Michael and I have been married for over 4 months now! By the time we
are married for 6 months,we will be settling in Romania and we will have been to
5 countries together in our short married life! That thought blew my mind when
we were in Aniwa. :) Needless to say, I am looking forward to having a little
settling time in Romania. I know we will be busy, but it will be good to be in
one place for a little while. :)
Well, thanks again for every one of your prayers. We love you all and
pray you are blessed. Please keep us updated on your lives and how you all are
doing. It's good to be connected, even though we are all many miles apart.
Blessings to you all!
Love,
Andi and Michael

Sunday Service Time 11:00 a.m - 12:30 pm. Thursday Night 7:00 p m Bible Study Location: In the Community of "Chestnut Hill" 5847 Timber Valley Dr. Lake Worth, FL 33463 Questions Call - 561-797-5988 SEE YOU THERE! Baptism Upon Request The last Beach Baptism was held Sunday - December 13, 2009 at 11:45 am - on the beach in Lake Worth (on the left side of the pier). We had several folks that wanted to take their next step in
their faith to be Baptized in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made
this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” (Acts 2:36-39)
